A Lock called Speech

Yuuko said that words does not tie down oneself, but tie down others. (xxxHolic -chapter 47)

Since I was just reading the manga vaguely, I was not able to clearly perceive in my mind what I was reading when the line mentioned above was stated that I had to read the whole chapter all over again.

Looking back, I realized how I see myself to the twins. Being bounded by the lock called speech was something that really hindered me for excelling in things that I should really have.

Actually at first I didn't get the whole idea about Yuuko's concept of speech and how it was scary. Then I realize that it IS scary.

Speech is such a wonderful gift that God gave us. To be able to speak and express is one talent that we should really appreciate and be thankful of ,but then if you use this talent to delimit a person then there's something that should be done here --immediately.

Watanuki even said the simple, yet persuasive, thing to the older twin. I do agree when he said that before you could say that you couldn't do it, think and believe that you could do it and take action. As for the younger twin, I think it's really bad to disparage a person. I believe that nothing beats moral support and constant encouragement.

Whoa, so much for a life's lesson in a day. >///<

So, reading manga is not that totally foible. In fact, if you choose your manga wisely, you might have chosen something that would give you lessons and tips in life (Yes, even Yaoi has it's own good points). I now have decided not to take xxxHolic for granted and that I would read it astutely. :P

God Bless!
